In this course, participants will learn about the origins and the nature of a retrospective and how to design and run effective retrospective within and outside of the software development environment.
Course participants will learn about the retrospective lifecycle, with its five phases and unique techniques employed for each phase. Following a structured approach, participants will apply the principles of how to design, plan, and run a retrospective session, ensuring that the success factors are identified and the success criteria are defined to assess it. The course covers how to establish a PMO Retrospective Service for projects, programs, and portfolios, and also looks into how retrospectives can be used as a channel to help drive innovation.
